Snowfest 2023….That’s a Wrap!

Snowfest 2023 kicked off with a wide variety of music, food, and fun for everyone that attended Friday, July 28th. This year it was all in the east side of Neshotah Park where it had been for much of its past history.

The night opened with a great crowd for Bacchus Lotus and The High Rollers. However, Mother Nature stepped in and like many other music events that night put a stop to the fun before our headliner Bad Habitz was able to take the stage. We are working with them to bring them back for 2024. So many smiling faces were there and a great energy around the whole park location! Our volunteers were great supports to helping make the whole event flow great!!!

Saturday morning opened with the Snowfest parade. This time it was on the south side of Two Rivers on Columbus street. The streets were lined with smiling faces of people having fun. Chiller was in rare form and along with Santa Claus was able to pepper the crowd with snowballs!

Following the parade families and the crowd joined us at Neshotah Park. A vendor fair was bustling with shoppers and the family area was full of people enjoying the great weather. Kids Performer Strategic and Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do performed for the crowd in the kids area. Chiller even made an appearance for photos and fun!

The afternoon progressed along with the crowd enjoying music from Good Morning Bedlam, Shelly Mack and the ReUnion, and The Nix. This all lead to the highlight of the night, our Saturday headliner Blessid Union of Souls taking the stage. The multi-platinum, 8 time top 50 music act entertained the crowd and had them signing along to their hits, “I Believe”, “Hey Leonardo”, and “Light in your eyes”. This marked the first time a national touring act with this kind of background played in Two Rivers!

Sunday dawned with beautiful weather and warm temperatures and the music of Thy Dirty Deuce and Stephen Cooper and the Nobody Famous kept the stage hot for the crowd that was there. The smell of great food and the sounds off fun filled the air of Neshotah Park.

A great weekend was enjoyed by everyone and we look forward to the return of Snowfest 2024!
