So much of the history of Two Rivers Snowfest centers around great music. Local, regional, and even some national bands graced the stages of Snowfest throughout its history. In bringing this great event back, we thought it only right to do the same. With that in mind, let’s introduce you to the bands and artists that will be gracing our stages this July 23-25, 2021
FRIDAY JULY 23, 2021
Dig Deep
Dig Deep, a four piece string band from around the Wausau area brings its folk rock stylings to Snowfest as the opening act of the event. Dig Deep brings their well-honed, hard-edged sound and their boisterous, dynamic performances to Two Rivers for the first time. Their recently release album “Heavy Heart” features the self titled track “Heavy Heart that you can hear below.

The Honeygoats
The Honeygoats are a five piece Bluegrass band from around the Sheboygan. Their high energy performances have seen them play at different venues through out the region and we could not be happier to have them joining us at Snowfest 2021

David Quinn
David Quinn blends a Midwestern mentality with classic Country stylings in his approach. The Chicago-based musician, who released his critically-acclaimed debut album “Wandering Fool” in 2018 is a touring fixture throughout the US. He describes his music as Midwest Cosmic Country and we are excited to welcome this rising star to Snowfest 2021.You can hear his track “Let Me Die With My Boots On” here:
Buffalo Gospel
Buffalo Gospel’s Ryan Necci brings a highly-introspective writing style coupled with influences from 1970’s AM radio across four highly-regarded albums. The band’s wildcat live performances take listeners to a dusty, forlorn, but strangely familiar place that simply gets sweeter with time. You can see their video for their song “Easy Love” here:

Dead Horses
Dead Horses weave together a patchwork of classic and contemporary influences that span trad roots, indie-folk, and other experimental musical idioms. The Milwaukee-based duo of guitarist/singer Sarah Vos and bassist Daniel Wolf bring a rotating group of talented musicians to each of their intimate performances.
Along the way, Dead Horses has charted on the Americana Top 50 radio charts for three months, accrued over 20 million spins on Spotify for the single “Turntable” which was also featured on Amazon and Apple “Americana”playlists. The pair’s select press highlights include a Rolling Stone “Artist You Should Know” mention, and profiles in Billboard, Noisey, and even Democracy Now!
Touring has been essential to the group’s vitality, and these days Dan and Sarah average 120 dates per year. Choice live performance highlights include national tours with Mandolin Orange, Tramped by Turtles, opening for The Who, and appearances at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and at festivals such as Northwest String Summit, Red Wing Roots, Red Ants Pants, and Bristol Rhythm and Roots. Charlie Bucket
Most of us grew up knowing Charlie Bucket as the quiet lad who discovered the fifth golden ticket in the children’s classic Willy Wonka. We introduce you to four grown men that discover the riches that can only be found in a great set of classic rock. The band who has played throughout the region combines their musical experience to create their own golden versions of songs from such artists as BB King, Dave Mason, The Allman Brothers, The Stones, The BoDeans and many more.

Liquid Crush
Liquid Crush, is a five piece rock and classic cover band from the Milwaukee area. Jon Stangel, a Two Rivers native brings the experience, showmanship, dynamic vocals, and energy that is part of Liquid Crush back home to Snowfest 2021.

Beer Club
Beer Club brings its unique take on classic rock, blues, and modern hits to the Snowfest stage. The four piece band who describe themselves as Beerticians with a band problem brings long time members familiar to the local music scene. Beer Club offers its unique covers of classic and modern rock hits in what promises to be a fun afternoon of music. Check out their take on the Bob Seger classic “Turn the Page”

Joseph Huber
Joseph Huber is a singer-songwriter from the Milwaukee area that defines the spirit of Americana. He has plied his craft since his time as one of the founding members of the .357 String Band refining his lyrical and introspective approach. Whether it’s irresistible, fiddle-driven, dancing tunes or honest, heart-wrenching “songwriter” songs, Huber’s songs and shows spans the spectrum of ‘Roots’ music while preferring not to stay within the boundaries of any strict genre classification. Running Blind
This quartet of artists includes Josh VanEss on vocals, Scot Hoerth on lead guitar with Chris Brooks on the kit and Chad Hoerth pounding the bass. Running Blind brings its unique approach and style to current rock hits as well as a modern twist on hits from bands like Styx, Reo Speedwagon, and many more. With 15 years of experience as a group under its belt Running Blind is sure to bring a high energy and strong performance to bring Snowfest to a close. Thy Dirty Deuce
The original mathematicians of rock n roll take the stage in Two Rivers for the first time in a long time. Rob Atwood provides the vocals, Jamey Clark on the kit and Greg Roteik on the bass provide the beat for the rest of the crew. David Passow and Matt Ostlund provide the relentless blues groove people have come to expect. Thy Dirty Deuce recently released its fourth new album and we are so proud and happy to welcome them to the Snowfest music stage.

Listening Party
Listening Party, a 2018 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) nominee for Bluegrass/Americana, have found a place in the original music scene around the Midwest with their soulful stage presence and infectious melodies. The trio out of Milwaukee, WI present a fresh brand of Americana music that feeds from folk, classic rock, soul and bluegrass. Singer-songwriter Weston Mueller, a Northern Wisconsin native, leads the group with “every note full of expression and feeling” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel). Complemented by multi-instrumentalists, Joshua Hester and Jacob Wood, each song paints a portrait of the groups varying musical backgrounds.

Strutter
STRUTTER, the longest running KISS tribute band, rocks audiences with an unforgettable mix of classic KISS tunes, fire breathing, blood spitting, smokingguitars, explosive pyrotechnics, authentic costuming, full makeup, staging andspecial effects. It features the talents of TR’s own Matt Schroeder, who shreds the guitar much like his icon Ace Frehley has done for the original KISS lineup.

Happy Schnapps Combo
What would a Wisconsin Festival be without the Happy Schnapps Combo? Since 1988 concert goers have loved the polka anthems like, “The Bears Still Suck” and “No I Don’t Wanna Do That” pumped out across festivals and bars alike. The band featuring Otto, Horst, Wenzel, Wolfgang and Helmut are a sight to be seen. Make sure you have a good seat and cold beer for this one.
